Meet Charlie
Charlie is a trauma-informed, qualified psychotherapist with a deep commitment to supporting people through life’s more tender and challenging moments. They have a special interest in grief and loss—whether it’s the pain of bereavement, the quiet ache after a relationship ends, or the deep inner shifts that come with identity and change.
Charlie’s style is gentle, inclusive, and grounded in a person-centred approach. They hold space for the full spectrum of human emotion—grief, joy, confusion, clarity—and believe that every part of us, even those we’ve tucked away, deserves curiosity and care.
Alongside grief work, Charlie supports people navigating anxiety, depression, stress, chronic health conditions, relationship challenges, and explorations of gender and sexuality. Wherever someone is on their path, Charlie walks beside them with calm, compassion, and unwavering respect.
When not in session, Charlie is often found drawing, painting, or making music. They’re a devoted book lover, happiest in the garden with a good read, and find grounding inspiration by the ocean and in the bush—places that feel like home and help them breathe a little deeper.
The Way Charlie Walks Beside You
Charlie’s approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the beautiful complexity of being human. They believe that healing begins when we feel safe enough to explore all parts of ourselves—especially the ones we’ve learned to quiet or hide.
With a warm, person-centred style, Charlie walks alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges. Together, they gently explore experiences, emotions, and the inner world—always at the client’s pace, and always with care.
Charlie believes that by truly understanding and honouring our stories, we can begin to feel more whole, more connected, and more at home in ourselves and in life.
