Couples Therapy
Because every relationship deserves a little care
When love feels a bit out of sync
Every couple goes through ups and downs - it’s part of being human. But when the distance grows, conversations turn tense, or you start feeling more like housemates than partners, it can feel heavy.
That’s where couples therapy can help. It’s not about pointing fingers or finding fault - it’s about slowing things down, understanding each other again, and rebuilding connection in a space that feels calm and respectful.
Why it’s worth sitting down together
-

talking without the tension
We all know how quickly a small chat can turn into an argument. Couples therapy helps you slow down, really hear each other, and talk in a way that feels calm and respectful even when things get tricky.
-

finding your way back to each other
When the spark fades or trust feels shaky, therapy gives you a chance to reconnect. It’s about understanding what’s been missing and rebuilding closeness, bit by bit, in a safe and honest space.

Getting Through Life’s Changes Together
Life throws a lot at couples - kids, stress, work, loss, or just growing apart. Therapy helps you face those changes side by side, with clarity, teamwork, and a little more kindness for each other.
1️⃣ Individual Sessions
Before meeting together, each of you will have your own one-on-one session. This gives you a chance to get a feel for your therapist, share your story, and talk about anything you’d prefer to keep private for now. It’s your time to be open and honest - without pressure.
2️⃣ Talk It Through Together
After your individual sessions, have a chat with your partner about how it felt. There’s no rush — just take your time and decide together if you’d both like to move forward. The goal is to make sure you both feel comfortable and supported.
3️⃣ Book Your Joint Session
When you’re both ready, you can book your first joint session. This is where you come together with your therapist to explore what’s been happening, understand each other better, and start working toward small but meaningful changes - together.

FAQs
💬 Ready to Talk?
Taking that first step can feel awkward — we get it. But reaching out doesn’t mean things are falling apart; it means you care enough to make them better.
-
It’s a calm, supportive space to talk things through with a neutral therapist. You’ll both get the chance to share what’s been happening, understand each other better, and work on small changes that can make a big difference.
-
Not right away. You’ll each start with your own individual session first - a chance to talk privately, get comfortable, and see how therapy feels. When you’re both ready, you’ll book your joint session together.
-
Anything that’s putting strain on your relationship - communication, trust, parenting, intimacy, or feeling disconnected. If it matters to you, it’s worth bringing to therapy.
-
There’s no set number - every couple is different. Some notice a shift after a few sessions, others prefer ongoing support. You and your therapist will find the pace that feels right.
